Sometimes, you just find inspiration at the weirdest times and places.
The other night, I was perusing the internet, looking at photos of makeup (of course!) and saw a beautiful makeup look, and I HAD to try to recreate it. Right then and there, at 2 am! ha ha!
The challenge was that, my personal makeup collection is pretty cruddy. It’s basically a round up of all the rejected makeup that I intentionally bought for my professional kit. It’s made up of brushes and palettes that I used once or twice on clients, didn’t like it, and it goes into my “maybe it’ll come to good use one day” pile…
I found some super plasticy and shiny lashes, with eyelash glue that did not work! I remembered why I hated this eyelash glue… it’s a latex free formula, that I bought just in case I had a client that is allergic to latex. It’s the worse lash glue ever!! It stings my eyes, dries like a hard plastic, doesn’t stick properly, and rips out my lashes!
