Okay, I don’t personally have a problem with having small boobs, but there are times where I need a little extra “oomph”, depending on what type of top I wear.
If it’s a night out and I’m wearing something a more low cut and sexier, I definitely need some help. When I’m wearing backless dresses or tops, I also bump into this issue.
I’ve teamed up with pushupbraz.com to share some tips and tricks to help you feel boobie-confident for your next wild girls night out or date night.
Chest workouts
Ladies, do NOT skip chest day! I don’t mean bench press 240lbs (unless that’s your thing), but even body weight and light weight chest exercises will help, like push ups.
My fave are laying and incline chest presses with light weights, cuz I’m weak sauce.
You won’t build manly muscles, I promise. You’ll build some muscle, which will help “fill out” your chest area. I have natural boobs so I find that my boobs are heavier on the bottom, but I workout out my chest helps fill out the upper area.
Wear a push up bra
Well, duh, I know that sounds pretty obvious. But I’m not talking about any regular old pushup bra.
Nowadays, with so many sexier, backless and strapless styles of dresses available, we’re kind of screwed in the bra department, right? WRONG!
There are these new types of bras where you can customize your level of push up. Like the “Kylie” bra from pushupbraz.com.
See, everyone’s anatomy is different, including breast shape and positioning. With this bra, you can play around with the positioning of the bra to see what gives you the best look.
Some people will need to place the cups further apart, some need the cups lower or higher.

The magic happens when the lace-up closure is adjusted. You control how much lift and push you want!
Pushupbraz.com offers a few different styles of the strapless/backless bras, and some accessories like breast lift tape and nipple covers.

Double up on bras
This is another trick I’ve tried back in the day. I know it sounds a bit excessive, but hey, we want the girls to look good, right?
This works best for tops and dresses that can be work with regular, strapped bras, like low cut t-shirts or tank tops.
Try wearing a bra like the “Rachel” from pushupbraz.com, which maximizes cleavage, but has smaller cups, so it’ll be a bit more discreet. Put this bra on first, then layer a regular bra on top of that! Be amazed at the difference it makes!
If you dare – try wearing a padded strapped bra on top of the stick-on bra, if you really feel like putting the girls out there.
Contouring
This is a makeup trick used on photoshoots and in theatre, but it’s also made a buzz on social media. I’ve tried this trick a bunch of times in my younger days (cuz I thought I needed it!), and never quite got it right. Here’s a funny video for you to get an idea of how to do this trick:
This trick is best used in conjunction with any of the tips I just shared!
Bring on that GLOW
I know, I know, “shut up about the GLOW already, Mary!”
But I can’t, I’m obsessed. Hell, my chat screen names back then were “Sparklette”. I know. Barf. But I am still into shiny pretty things.
If you’re gonna be showing some skin, why not add a bit shimmer? Adding shimmer to your décolletage and chest area will make things pop and look sexy.
My favourite is to just dust some shimmery highlighter or loose powder to the area. If you’re up for it, you can mix some loose powder with body lotion and apply it that way. Not only will this give you an awesome sexy skin sheen, but it’ll make things “pop” too.
Now, go forth with confidence!
We all know that being hot is about more than just boobies, right? It’s your confidence and how you rock whatever it is you’re rocking (corduroy pants, leg warmers, high waisted tights, brains, your cool collection of cat toys, whatever!) So ladies, go out, have lots of fun, and just enjoy whatever body you have. Yes, yes, I know, we like a bit of help sometimes. Do what you can, and go rock what you’ve got!
