Tria’s newest and latest model in their personal laser hair removal series is the Precision. Like the name suggests, this handheld system is designed to target areas that need precise attention. This makes it perfect for targeting smaller areas like the bikini area and facial hair.
The Precision offers professional results, due to its advanced diode laser technology, which promises permanent results. With it having such a small tip where the laser is released, this makes it one of the safest machines to use on the market. With the treatment nozzle being so small, there is less chance of you accidentally shooting the laser onto unwanted areas, like your eyes!
Tria, creators of the best selling in home laser hair remover systems, the Tria 4X, has added the perfect counterpart. Women and men loved using the 4X, but wanted something that was more compact, lightweight and was able to target smaller areas on the face and body.
This model is Precise, Portable, Petite, and offers Professional results! (has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it? 😉 )
Who Can Use the Tria Precision?
Technology is an amazing thing. Several years ago, if you wanted to get rid of unwanted facial or body hair, you wouldn’t be able to unless you had pasty white skin!
The Tria is safe to use on anyone that has fair to medium-olive skin tones.
It is also best used on people with hair that isn’t blonde, red or grey.
Most people of European descent (ie. Italian, Greek and Spanish) have an olive undertone to their skin, and European users have reported that they’ve used these machines with no problems.
Why it’s so awesome
The size – let’s talk about why it’s petite-ness is a plus. You can get into nooks and crannies a lot easier with this thing. Let’s face it, our bodies aren’t perfectly flat surfaces, and some spots aren’t that easy to reach without looking like we’re playing a game of Twister.
The smaller head makes you feel confident that you aren’t zapping anything you shouldn’t be. Hello, bikini and Brazilian areas!!! You wouldn’t want to accidentally be lasering anything around such a sensitive area. The lighter weight also helps with fatigue and strain when treating hard to reach places.
Advanced In Home Hair Laser Technology – the laser used in this cute little thing is the same technology as what you would see in the machines at your local professional’s office. The Diode Laser provides quick and permanent results. A lot of people see a difference in as little as 2 weeks! The advanced system is also FDA approved. So you can be confident that you are using one of the safest machines of its kind on the market.
Price – At an average price of $299, this model is at a lower price point than the 4X. Sure, that may seem like a hefty price tag at first, but let me just remind you how much these sessions cost with a professional spa.
$300 doesn’t seem so bad compared to that now, does it?
What I didn’t Like
Tria is a trusted brand for hair removal at home, so there is no doubt that you will get rid of unwanted hair.
The only thing I found a bit of a nuisance was the battery life. The battery only lasts 15 minutes, which means you can only treat small areas, exactly what this was meant for. Most people did find that 15 mins was enough for them to treat both underarm areas, but I can imagine that people with larger surfaces that need to be treated might run into a problem.
Ideally, you would have the Precision for quick touch-ups in areas that need it, and for facial hair; and another machine to treat larger areas.
So, Does It Work?
The Tria Precision is a great choice for someone who wants to treat smaller, more sensitive areas. The laser does provide quick results (you must do a minimum of 2 treatments!). Due to the size and 15 minute battery life, it is not ideal for larger areas of the body. If you are wanting to treat your whole body, I’d suggest getting the Tria 4X, and getting the Precision for facial hair or your private areas.
